A shout-out to all BIBAK NPW and BIBAK Organizers for engaging everyone to participate in the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition Centennial Celebration at the Seattle Center on June 6-7, 2009.

Writing on behalf of the organizers, Gloria Golocan draws our attention to "Path of our Forefathers" and “Revisit” the Igorot Village. Among the activities are:

Demonstration:

Tapuy-making
Weaving
Carving
and many more

Cultural Performance:
The Legend of Sleeping Beauty

Workshops:
"The Real Story: Igorots in the 1909 Alaska Yukon Exhibition Then and Now"
"Deepening Connections: Understanding Filipino Mutual Cultural Misconceptions"

Film:

"Bontoc Eulogy"

and many more.....

Even the origin of BIBAK, the acronym, has been a subject of healthy pre-event rediscovery discussion among BIBAK members around the world.
